PROCLAMATION BY THE CITY OF FRISCO Thank you, ๐…๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐œ๐จ ๐Œ๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ซ Jeff Cheney, for recognizing the HungerMitao movement and honoring ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ข๐š๐ง ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ง ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ at the Frisco City Council meeting onTuesday, January 3rd for leading the way in the fight against hunger in North Texas and across the United States. HungerMitao is a 100% volunteer driven movement that raises awareness about the rampant hunger issue right here in the United States and fosters a spirit of โ€œgive where you liveโ€ within the community.

Increased awareness brings improved engagement. The US based Indian diaspora has whole heartedly joined the HungerMitao movement in the fight against hunger byย contributing in numerous ways ranging from organizing awareness & volunteer sessions, to conducting food & fund drives for special life events, and by making multi-year pledges through HungerMitao Sponsorship Circles.

Over the last five years since its formation on September 29, 2017, HungerMitao has enabled 60 million nutritious meals forย  Feeding America and its network of food banks, and is quickly becoming a model community driven movement to make a positive impact right where we live.ย
